When you arrive in your chalet, you will find a printed activity programme on the dining table. This will provide details of the week’s itinerary, including everything from guided mountain tours and evening entertainment to top tips about your stay. These suggestions vary from week-to-week, depending on what’s happening. Everything is totally optional but at very least it will give you some ideas.
The Lungau region maintains many of its ancient traditions, so there’s often something to go and see and there are no end of hidden treasures, like out-of-the-way restaurants, events, visits to local farms shops and producers, and secret trails. The printed itinerary, together with our personal guiding service, should give you a good head-start towards making the most of your visit.
When it comes to exploring Lungau’s Southern Alps, we run regular guided tours – on skis and snow shoes in the winter and on foot or bike in the summer. These may even include a few unofficial tips on technique for those who want them… Just don’t tell Gabi in the ski school!
Herby’s our resident ski guide and Jodi is a professionally trained mountain sports guide. Both are qualified skiing instructors and can usually be found either skiing down a mountain or trekking up it.
