The start of this route is the same as the trip to the Göriach Valley.
Join the Muhrradweg (Muhr Cycle Path) by cycling down from the chalets to the river, go over the bridge and turn left. Cycle along this path following the signs for the Muhrradweg until you get to Mortelsdorf on the outskirts of Tamsweg a distance of about 14 kilometres.
At the junction above, turn left, go over a small river, cycle for a few more yards.
Turn right where the two bikes are. Cycle through the farm yard and on to a fenced track between fields.
At this junction (above), take the right fork, carry on.
Go over the new bridge (above).
As shown above, take the second left into Ottingweg. Carry on along this road past some houses and flats until the junction with the main road.
Turn left at the junction with the main road and then immediately turn right onto another path.
The right hand turn off the main road is marked “Waldcamping” (shown above). Carry on along this track until you reach the junction below.
At the junction shown above, go straight on to cycle up to the Lessach Valley. Follow the road signs and cycle up along the main valley road, which for quite some way follows the river until you reach Lessach. This is quite a climb but quite manageable with E-bikes.
At the information point in Lessach, turn right past some houses, and head down a steep hill until you reach a small car park and wooden bridge across the river with a small toll point for cars. Continue along the path into this beautiful valley. Home cooked food from the farm can be obtained at the Lenznalm where you can also charge up the E-bikes or further along the path at the Laßhoferalm.
